The ewes and I needed a break this year so only 2 are bred. Carly, my registered natural colored Border Leicester and Sunstar my registered natural colored Cotswold. They are bred to my registered Cotswold ram, Mohegan, who has moved on to another farm. I am looking forward to at least 2, maybe 4 colored lambs in late February and early March.

Check back for pictures and availability. See my sales page for ewes that are available for sale. I do require a deposit to hold any sheep/lambs and ask that they be picked up within 2 weeks at which point a daily keeping fee of $1.00 will be added to your selling price

See our Sheep for Sale page for more information

Hobby Knob Octavia

Meet Hobbyknob Octavia. She is the 2008 lamb of Painted Rock Gabrielle. She is the busy body of the flock. Octavia has 2 nicely balanced horns and the eye patches of her sire Hosea. Her fleece is dense. I will try and loosen that up next year with a ram with looser more open locks

Cotswold Ewe - Sunstar

Sunstar is now 6 and is my one and only 100% Cotswold ewe. She has an open, lustrous fleece, good mothering instinct and as true to the Cotswold breed is very gentle and tame. I had planned on more colored Cotswold ewes but it seems I found some other sheep I like also so I had to draw the line. She was a triplet but has never had more than twins. She is bred to Mo so I am looking forward to some 100% Cotswold lambs.

Sire: Critter Crossing C02736
Dam: Twin Maples C01574

Border Leceister/Cotswold Ewe - Daisy

Daisy usually does well at the fiber shows even as a mature ewe. In 2008 she was the Reserve Grand Champion ewe in the Junior show at SAFF. She has a lovely fleece. I like this cross so much I bought my own Border Leceister ewe to use with my Cotswold ram. This is her huge 2008 Ewe lamb on the left. She is due this year.

Border Leicester - Registered - Carly

I like Daisy so much, who is a BL/Cots, that I decided to get my own Border Leceister ewe. Carly comes from the Russell's or Triple R Farm. She is also registered with the NCWGA.
She went in with Mohegan late so I am hoping for a lamb from her in April.

Sire: Koeppel274/RUSSE
Dam: X085562
